Free, and provided as is
DiskSamurai is free software from desert bits llc. It is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not promise that it is free of errors, that its measurements are accurate, or that it suits your needs.
You decide what gets deleted
DiskSamurai moves items to the macOS Trash only when you tell it to. Review what you remove, keep a backup of your Mac (Time Machine or similar), and do not empty the Trash until you are sure. Suggestions from the app or from an AI analysis are guesses, not advice; the decision is yours.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, desert bits llc is not liable for any loss of data, loss of profits, or indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from using or being unable to use DiskSamurai, even if told such damages were possible. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the app, which is nothing.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, such as for intent or gross negligence, or takes away your statutory rights as a consumer.
No support obligation
DiskSamurai comes without support, maintenance or updates, and it may be changed or withdrawn at any time. You are welcome to write to [email protected], but replies are voluntary and not guaranteed.
Third-party services
If you turn on AI analysis, your use of the provider you choose is governed by that provider's own terms and privacy policy. desert bits llc is not responsible for third-party services. What the app sends them is described in the Privacy Policy.
App Store copies
Copies obtained from the Mac App Store are also licensed under Apple's Standard License Agreement. Where it and these terms conflict, Apple's agreement prevails for those copies.
General
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which desert bits llc is organized, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If any part of them is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. Changes are published at this address with a new effective date; using the app after a change means you accept it.
